BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football had 12 players recognized on the Athlon Sports 2026 Preseason All-Conference USA Team.
The Hilltoppers had two players receive First Team recognition – wide receiver K.D. Hutchinson and safety Jaylen Lewis. Running back Ajay Allen and offensive lineman Karsten Upchurch were named to the Second Team Offense and safety Dave Herard was named Second Team Defense. On the Third Team were quarterback Rodney Tisdale Jr., offensive lineman Alec Johnson and offensive lineman Rhett Larston, and receiving Fourth Team recognition were wide receiver Nigel Johnson, offensive lineman Tai Ray, defensive end Venson Sneed and cornerback Tony Newsome Jr.
