2025 (r-Jr.) | 13/13: Lewis started all 13 games at safety for the Hilltoppers during the 2025 season – his first year on The Hill. He finished tied for second on the team in total tackles with 74. Lewis recorded 3.5 tackles for loss, a team-high three interceptions, five pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He finished with multiple tackles in every game, and recorded a season-high 15 in WKU's game at LSU on Nov. 22, with 10 solo tackles and a sack in that game. Lewis had a season-high two tackles for loss in the win at Delaware on Oct. 3. He recorded interceptions against Sam Houston on Aug. 23, against Nevada on Sept. 20 and in the New Orleans Bowl victory over Southern Miss on Dec. 23. He also had a season-high two pass breakups against the Golden Eagles. Lewis forced a fumble at Jax State on Nov. 29 and recorded a fumble in the win over Nevada. Lewis finished the season ranked 24th in Conference USA in tackles with 5.69 per game. Lewis was named the CUSA Defensive Player of the Week following the Week 0 win over Sam Houston, and he finished the year as an All-CUSA Honorable Mention selection according to the league's head coaches. He also received 2025 Phil Steele CUSA All-Conference Fourth Team honors. Lewis was named a team captain for the Aug. 30 game against North Alabama.
Before WKU: Lewis transferred to WKU after one season at Temple, where he appeared in 11 games with six starts during the 2024 season. He totaled 43 tackles, with two for loss, plus an interception, six pass breakups and a forced fumble for the Owls. Lewis arrived at Temple after starting his career at Arkansas, where he played in four games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He posted three tackles as a Razorback.
HS/Misc.: Lewis prepped at Haywood High School in Tennessee and was a consensus three-star prospect according to 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. 247Sports rated him the No. 19 player in Tennessee and the No. 52 player in the country at his position. As a senior, he recorded 31 tackles and an interception he returned for a touchdown, and he also caught 51 passes for 977 yards and 14 touchdowns to help his team to a 13-1 record and a state semifinal appearance. In addition, he rushed 15 times for 88 yards, had two kick returns for 105 yards and had nine punt returns for 145 yards. As a junior in 2020, he helped Haywood to the state title game by posting 56 tackles, four tackles for loss and seven interceptions during the season. He was named to the All-West Tennessee Defensive First Team.
