Before WKU: Johnson comes to WKU from South Carolina State, where he spent his first three seasons of college football. He played in 10 games during the 2025 season, recording 11 receptions for 295 yards and three touchdowns for the 10-3 Bulldogs. The year prior, he had six catches for 133 yards and a touchdown in five games played, and in 2023 as a true freshman, Johnson appeared in 11 games with 11 receptions for 127 yards.
HS/Misc.: Johnson prepped at Crestwood High School in South Carolina, where he caught 26 passes for 630 yards and eight touchdowns in seven games as a senior, according to his team’s MaxPreps account.
