BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Defensive back Upton Stout and kicker Lucas Carneiro highlighted WKU Football's selections on the Phil Steele 2024 Postseason CUSA All-Conference Teams, which the publication released this week.
Stout and Carneiro were both First Team selections by the publication, after receiving First Team nods by the league's coaches earlier this month. Carneiro was also named to the Phil Steele 2024 Postseason All-American First Team.
The publication named quarterback Caden Veltkamp, running back Elijah Young, wide receiver Kisean Johnson, tight end River Helms, left guard Quantavious Leslie, left tackle Travon Taylor, defensive tackle Hosea Wheeler, cornerback Anthony Johnson Jr., safety Devonte' Mathews and long snapper Rex Robich to the Second Team.
On the Phil Steele 2024 Postseason CUSA All-Conference Third Team were wide receiver Easton Messer and right tackle Marshall Jackson, and on the Fourth Team were center Evan Wibberley, defensive tackle Dallas Walker and linebacker Darius Thomas, as well as Messer at kick returner.
WKU finished the 2024 season with an 8-6 overall record, and earned berths in both the CUSA Championship Game and the Boca Raton Bowl.
