- WKU improved to 3-1 to start the season. WKU opens the year 3-1 for the second straight year, the first time that has happened since WKU did it in three straight years since 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10.
- WKU leads the all-time series with SEMO 2-0 with the teams having met each of the last two seasons.
- The Lady Toppers return home on Wednesday, Nov. 27 to face fifth-ranked Louisville in E.A. Diddle Arena. The Cardinals are coached by former WKU assistant Jeff Walz. The game has been labeled as a "White Out," with the first 1,000 fans receiving a free shirt commemorating the event. The matchup with the Cards will likely be WKU's first game against a top-five opponent since third-ranked North Carolina on Dec. 20, 2007 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. It also will mark the first time since March 11, 2000 that WKU has welcomed a team that reached the Final Four in the previous season to E.A. Diddle Arena. All-time, WKU has hosted 12 teams that played in the Final Four the previous season and played 32 games against teams that had reached the Final Four the previous season. Centerplate will also offer a Hilltopper Express Deal at the game, allowing fans to purchase one hot dog, one bag of chips and one bottle of Coca-Cola for just $7. In addition, coats for area children will be collected at the game in conjunction with the Bowling Green Jr. Women's Club Coats for Kids Drive. Coats will be donated to children in Bowling Green as part of the WKU Hilltoppers With Heart program.
- WKU scored 90 points for the second time in the Michelle Clark-Heard era and the first time since scoring 98 against Troy on Jan. 30, 2013.
- WKU has scored at least 80 points in consecutive games for the first time since 2009-10 season on Feb. 20 and Feb. 24.
- WKU had runs of 9-0 and 10-0 during the first half of play, matching their total from the first three games of the season.

- Junior Alexis Govan had 21 points, shooting 10-of-16 from the field. She added five rebound, five steals and four assists.
- Govan has scored in double figures in 40 consecutive games, the fourth longest WKU streak since the start of the 2000-01 season.
- It was the 43rd career game scoring in double figures of Govan's career.
- Govan recorded her 20th career game with 20 points or more.
- Govan hit eight of her first 12 attempts to open the game.
- Govan has started 45 consecutive games, the longest active streak on the team. She started the final nine games of the 2011-12 season and every game of the 2012-13 season. She has 54 career starts to her credit.
- Govan has scored in double figures in 40 consecutive games, the fourth longest WKU streak since the start of the 2000-01 season.
- Junior Chastity Gooch had 18 points and eight rebounds as she recorded her 38th career double figure game in points.
- Sophomore guard Micah Jones had 12 points and three assists.
- Jones hit three three-point field goals in the game. Jones had hit three three-point field goals in a game just three times all of last season.
- Jones scored in double figures for the second straight game and the third time in four games to start the season. She reached double figures just nine times all of last season.
- Junior Jasmine Crawford had a career high seven points. Her previous high was two points in the opener against Austin Peay.
- Freshman Bria Gaines had a career high eight points. Her previous high was five points against Murray State on Nov. 16, 2013.
- Senior guard Chaney Means had a season high seven points.
