With the win over the Owls (7-40 overall, 3-21 CUSA), the Hilltoppers (36-10 overall, 18-6 CUSA) posted a perfect 15-0 conference record at the WKU Softball Complex. WKU becomes the sixth team in Conference USA history to post a perfect home conference record and the first to ever go 15-0.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hilltoppers wasted no time getting on the board in the bottom of the first as Kendle White opened the game with a leadoff walk, stole second base, then was pushed to third with a groundout from Annie White.
Morgan Sharpe was responsible for the first RBI of the day as she brought Kendle White in with a single to center field.
Up 1-0 going into the bottom of the second, both Kendle White and Jenna Blanton secured back-to-back RBI with a sacrifice fly and a single to centerfield, respectively.
WKU continued to add runs in the home half of the third as Kennedy Stinson scored the fourth run of the day with a sacrifice fly to score Lauren Satterly, who reached earlier with a walk.
Two hit by pitches and a single from Satterly loaded the bases for the Hilltoppers in the fourth and a two-RBI single from Maci Masters scored two more to push WKU's lead to 6-0.
The seventh and final run of the day came from Stinson in the same inning with her second sacrifice fly of the day.
Stinson's sacrifice fly marked both the 291st run and 257th RBI scored this season, breaking previously set single season records at 290 runs and 256 RBI.
Kennesaw State scored its only two runs of the day in the top of the sixth with an RBI double and a sacrifice fly.
QUOTABLE

Big shoutout to all of the alums that came out this weekend. Big shoutout to our fans who support us all year. We hope you continue to support us on the road as we go up to Delaware and a great job by Maddy on senior day on the mound.
