In her 52.2 innings of work, she gave up 57 hits, 21 earned runs, and struck out 31... Recorded her 100th career strikeout against Kennesaw State on April 25.
As a Junior (2025): Appeared in 24 games with 10 starts ... Pitched a total of 62.2 innings ...  Faced 254 batters and gave up 71 hits and 42 runs throughout the season ... Finished with a 4-3 record, a 3.35 ERA and 37 total strikeouts. Had a .885 fielding percentage with 23 assists.Â
As a Sophomore (2024): Wood appeared in 14 games while starting 2...she pitched 20.1 innings, with a 6.20 ERA, 13 strikeouts, and a 2-1 record...she had a season high 3 strikeouts against Lipscomb (4/3/2024)...she had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 7 assists.
As a Freshman (2023):Â Made 21 appearances with two starts in the circle in 2023...owned a 5-3 record with a save through her rookie year...with a 5.11 ERA, Wood gave up only 32 runs off of 55 hits in 49.1 innings...pitched a complete game in the back 7.0 innings of the Tops' 13-inning game with LA Tech (5/6/23)...inherited 15 runners, only giving up seven runs...picked up 26 strikeouts at the plate, boasting a career high three strikeouts against EKU (3/8/23), North Texas (3/25/23), and Florida Atlantic (5/10/23)...held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage while picking up 13 assists on defense.
High School: Played her prep ball at Wayne High School...At the time of her signing, Wood was a letterwinner in softball (three seasons), track and field (two seasons) and basketball (three seasons)...Two-time Class 1A Region Champion...Earned first and second team All-Conference Honors while posting a pair of .300 or better season batting averages...All-Academic Honoree also led her squad in doubles, triples, RBI and runs scored during the 2020 campaign...On the hardwood, Wood earned honorable mention All-Conference honors in addition to earning both the State Academic Achievement and All-Conference Academic recognition twice...National Honor Society member...High Honor Roll throughout high school.
