BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Softball and Head Coach Amy Tudor have announced the Hilltoppers' 2026 fall ball slate, with five October dates on the schedule.
The Hilltoppers will open the fall season by hosting top-ranked NAIA program Lindsey Wilson on Oct. 2 for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
WKU will continue its fall season with back-to-back 10-inning home games against Campbellsville and Lakeland CC on Oct. 13 and 14. The Tops will open the two-game stretch against Campbellsville at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 before taking on Lakeland CC at 4:00 p.m. the following day.
A week later, the Hilltoppers will be back in action at the WKU Softball Complex, taking on Vol State CC, a 2026 NJCAA DI World Series participant, in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. on Oct. 21.
The Hilltoppers will close out fall ball on the road, traveling to Purdue for a final doubleheader on Oct. 25, beginning at 11 a.m.
WKU is coming off a historic 2026 season, finishing with a 39-14 overall record and a 19-8 mark in Conference USA play. The Hilltoppers' 39 wins were the second-most in program history. The 2026 season also saw WKU set seven single-season program records, including best start (18-3), longest win streak (14 games), highest slugging percentage (.528), runs scored (312), home runs (59), RBIs (276) and total bases (725). During her junior campaign, Annie White also set program records in on-base percentage (.510) and sacrifice flies (8).
