The Hilltoppers (24-8 overall, 8-4 CUSA) put together a complete team performance, scoring in four of the seven innings and putting up four runs in the seventh frame alone. The Aggies (17-18 overall, 7-4 CUSA) hit a total of three home runs but could not overcome WKU's offense.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
Jenna Blanton continues to be a spark for the Hilltopper offense, doubling to right center and advancing to third on an Aggie error to open the game.Â
With Blanton in scoring position, Annie White grabbed her team-leading 34th RBI with a sacrifice fly to center field.Â
NMSU leveled the score 1-1 with a solo home run to left center in the bottom of the frame.Â
In the visitor's half of the second, Kennedy Stinson hit her second home run of the weekend with a long ball to center field.Â
Rylan Smith, who earned her seventh start Sunday morning, quickly settled into the circle and sat NMSU down in order in the bottom half of the second with two strikeouts and a groundout.Â
WKU's momentum continued to build in the third, adding another run to increase the lead, 3-1. Anna Mauck reached on error to open the inning, and Kendle White moved her to second with a sacrifice bunt. Blanton followed up with a triple to score Mauck for her first RBI of the day.Â
Neither side scored until the bottom of the fourth when NMSU hit a two-run home run to even the score, 3-3.Â
With the score tied 3-3 going into the top of the fifth, Maci Masters roped a single to left field to put a Hilltopper on base and Lauren Campisano was subbed in to pinch run.Â
A passed ball pushed Campisano to second and a groundout from Mauck put her on third. With WKU threatening to score, Kendle White finished the job and forced NMSU to make an error that allowed Campisano to cross home plate. Â
Posting her third hit of the day, Blanton pushed a bunt single to third base, and a wild throw to first allowed Kendle White to score for the fifth run of the day.Â
The Aggies had no answer for the Hilltoppers until the bottom of the sixth as they hit their third and final home run of the day to close the gap, 5-4.Â
The top of the seventh, however, was the most productive for WKU as they scored a total of four runs off three hits.Â
A double from Kendle White, a groundout from Blanton, and a walk from Annie White put runners at first and third. Macy Gregor—pinch running for Annie White—then stole second to put two runners in scoring position.Â
Lauren Satterly was hit by a pitch, and WKU had runners at every base. Morgan Sharpe capitalized on the bases loaded situation with a double down the right field line to score White and Gregor.Â
Katie Murphy followed Sharpe's lead and hit an RBI single to score Satterly, and Sharpe scored the final run of the day off a successful first-and-third situation.Â
With a healthy 9-4 lead, NMSU was once again retired in order to secure WKU's second win of the weekend.Â
