ABOUT THE HILLTOPPERS
- The Hilltoppers are coming off their third conference series win of the season against NMSU and their first series win on the road.
- WKU improved to 24-8 overall and 12-3 when playing in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
- Over the weekend, Jenna Blanton led the offense with a .400 batting average while both Morgan Sharpe and Kennedy Stinson were the best in scoring with three RBI each.
- The Tops currently lead CUSA in batting average at .335, marking at least the seventh week this season the team has led the conference in batting average.
- WKU has also led CUSA in earned run average all season, currently rocking a 2.78 through 32 games.
- Despite a .296 being the second-lowest conference series batting average on the season, it was arguably the most productive CUSA series with 11 total extra-base hits. WKU finished the weekend with eight doubles, one triple, two home runs, and a total of 15 RBI.
- Kennedy Stinson posted two home runs over the weekend to bring her season total to eight. In addition, the two home runs brings the team total to 39.
- WKU is still in the top 25 nationally in hits per seven innings (11th, 5.50), WHIP (12th, 1.14), and ERA (25th, 2.78).
- Both Jenna Blanton and Annie White are still ranked in the top five in CUSA in batting average. Blanton is second with a .465 while White is third with a .448.

Series Record
- WKU is 5-2 all-time against the Bearkats and is 4-0 when playing at the WKU Softball Complex.
- Sam Houston is ranked top five in the conference in ERA (4th, 3.94) and batting average (5th, .295).
- The Bearkats' Kendall Daniel is fresh off a CUSA Pitcher of the Week nod after logging a 0.66 ERA across 10.2 innings of work. Daniel totaled 12 strikeouts, only four hits, and issued only one walk while holding MTSU to a .114 batting average.
- In the circle, Tiffany Sanchez leads the way with a 2.53 ERA, third best in the conference. In 74.2 innings pitched, she's allowed 55 hits, 27 earned runs, and has fanned 74.
- At the plate, Sophia Lundstrom leads with a .409 batting average with 54 hits in 132 at-bats.
- Veronica Harrison leads both SHSU and the conference in home runs with 13 so far this season.
