The Hilltoppers (19-3 overall, 3-0 CUSA) scored in every inning but the first as seven of WKU's nine hitters recorded at least one RBI. The Colonels (11-12 overall) struggled at the plate as Erica Houge earned her 10th win of the season and kept EKU hitless through three innings.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
Held scoreless in the first inning, the Hilltoppers struck in the bottom of the second with four-straight singles from Kennedy Stinson, Anna Mauck, Katie Murphy, and Morgan Sharpe. Both Murphy and Sharpe were credited with RBI singles. Â
Up 2-0 going into the third, Houge worked around a bases-loaded jam to prevent the Colonels from scoring.Â
In the home half of the inning, Stinson reached with a walk, advanced to second on a wild pitch, and made it to third thanks to a flyout from Mauck. With Stinson on third, Murphy collected her second RBI of the night with a single to shortstop. Â
The highlight of the top of the fourth was WKU's third double play of the season thanks to Houge, Sharpe, and Annie White. Â
Offensively, the Tops posted a game-high three runs after Kendle White and Jenna Blanton reached on an error and a bunt single, respectively. Annie White grabbed her first RBI of the night with a single up the middle to score Kendle White. Â
After Lauren Campisano was subbed in to pinch run for Annie White, Maci Masters registered a sacrifice fly to score Blanton and move Campisano to third. Â
Charlotte Herron grabbed an RBI single of her own after sending it to shortstop to score Campisano to push the score to 6-0.Â
With the eighth run-rule victory of the season in reach, Mauck turned on the second pitch of her at-bat to hit her third home run of the season. Â
Murphy then reached on a walk, Sharpe hit a bunt single to third base, and a passed ball moved the pair to scoring position.Â
Kendle White laid down a bunt to the pitcher to score the eighth run and secure her second walk-off hit of the season.Â

QUOTABLEÂ
"I thought we looked really solid in the circle," said WKU Softball head coach, Amy Tudor. "We played great defense. We got our bunts down, that's a big thing we've been working on. I'm really proud of that small part of our game. But we got speed and we were able to utilize that really well. It's really fun to see different people do different things every time we're out."Â
