ABOUT THE TOPS
- After earning its best start in program history over the weekend going 19-3, WKU earned its seventh shutout and eighth run-rule victory of the season with an 8-0 win against EKU on Tuesday.
- Katie Murphy went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with two hits, a walk, and a team-high two RBI.
- Seven different Hilltoppers were responsible for scoring on Tuesday.
- The game against EKU on Tuesday is only the second seven-inning game of the season with two or fewer strikeouts.

- Annie White is on a tear for the Hilltoppers as she's currently on a six-game hitting streak. Over the last six games, she is a staggering 8-for-16 (.500) at the plate with eight hits, two doubles, one home run, six RBI, and 13 total bases. The Paducah, Ky. native is slashing .500/.619/.813 and has scored two runs.
- WKU is currently one of six teams ranked nationally in ERA and batting average. WKU is eighth in ERA at 1.92 and 20th in batting average at .360. The list of six includes #3 Texas, #6 Alabama, #8 Florida, #9 Arkansas, and #11 Virginia Tech.

- The Tops are 5-6 all-time against Jax State and are 1-3 when playing in Jacksonville, Ala. The last time the two squads faced off was in the 2025 CUSA Tournament when Jax State defeated WKU, 2-1.
