ABOUT THE TOPS
- Through 13 games, Zsofia Telegdy is the leading scorer for the Lady Toppers, averaging 9.7 points per game. Telegdy and Torri James are the team's leading rebounders, pulling down 4.8 boards per game.
- The Lady Toppers finished non-conference play with wins against Kentucky State, Wichita State, Southern Illinois and North Dakota.
- Against the Salukis, WKU had nine team blocks which is the tied for the seventh most in program history.
- The Lady Toppers are averaging 5.1 blocks per game this season, leading Conference USA and ranking 26th in the nation. Jeniffer Silva is first in CUSA in total blocks with 18 on the season.
- Scoring has been balanced for the Lady Toppers this season. Through 13 games, WKU has had seven different leading scorers (Torri James three times, Tia Shelling twice, Tatum Boettjer twice, Jeniffer Silva twice, Zsofia Telegdy twice, and Salma Khedr and Caleigh-Rose West once each).
- WKU returns eight from the 2024-25 roster in Zsofia Telegdy, Torri James, Tia Shelling, Caleigh-Rose West, Mya Pratcher, Tatum Boettjer, Yendri Acosta and Salma Khedr. Telegdy is the only returning starter from a season ago. Boettjer made her Lady Topper debut after sitting out the 2024-25 season due to injury.
- The Lady Toppers welcomed six newcomers this season, including transfers Trinity Rowe, Jeniffer Silva and Tobi Ademuwagun and incoming freshmen Lola Bond, Elif Naz Dal and Enni Ahervuo. Rowe was the 2025 Sun Belt Freshman of the Year at Southern Miss last year.
- The 2025-26 roster is a veteran one with six seniors or fifth years. While the roster is an older one, no player has been at WKU longer than two seasons.
- WKU has international flavor once again with six international players. That is the most on a Lady Topper team all time, topping last season's five international players.
- The Lady Toppers were picked fifth in the Conference USA preseason poll behind Louisiana Tech, Liberty, Middle Tennessee and Missouri State. WKU has met or exceeded their placement in the CUSA preseason poll in seven of the last nine seasons.
- Trinity Rowe is the 15th Miss Kentucky Basketball to play at WKU all time and the first since Ivy Brown (2015-18). The fifteen Miss Kentucky Basketball winners that have suited up for the Lady Toppers are the most for any team in the country.
- Greg Collins is in his eighth season as head coach at WKU, which is the third longest tenure of any Lady Topper head coach all time.

- Thursday's game will be the 12th all-time between WKU and New Mexico State.
- The Lady Toppers own a 7-4 record in the series and won the most recent meeting on March 1, 2025, in Bowling Green, 85-68.
- WKU is 4-1 against New Mexico State at home.
ABOUT THE AGGIES
- New Mexico State had wins against New Mexico Highlands, Utah Tech, Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico in the non-conference portion of their schedule and had losses to No. 18 USC, New Mexico, San Diego, College of Charleston, Fresno State, Southern Utah, UC Irvine and Saint Mary's.
- In the opening week of CUSA play, the Aggies split, getting a win against Delaware on Sunday but losing to Liberty on Friday.
- Lucia Yenes is the leading scorer for the Aggies, putting up 13.7 points per game. Imani Warren is scoring 13.1 points per game as the second leading scorer. Morane Dossou is pulling down 8.6 rebounds per game to lead the team on the boards.
