ABOUT THE TOPS
- Three different Lady Toppers are averaging double digit points this season. Alexis Mead is leading the team with a 13.9 points per game average. Destiny Salary is putting up 12.8 points per game and Acacia Hayes is scoring 12.0 points per game.
- Zsofia Telegdy is leading the team on the boards, pulling down 5.4 rebounds per game. Josie Gilvin is close behind, averaging 5.1 rebounds per game.
- WKU is averaging 12.4 steals per game this season, which is the 17th best rate in the country. Three different Lady Toppers rank in the top 10 in CUSA in steals per game: Alexis Mead – 2nd, 2.94; Josie Gilvin – 4th, 2.69; Acacia Hayes – 7th, 2.40).
- WKU leads CUSA in four statistical categories. The Lady Toppers are first in scoring offense (74.3 points per game), assist/turnover ratio (1.11), assists per game (16.4), and turnover margin (7.25).
- The Lady Toppers have had six different leading scorers through 16 games this season. Destiny Salary has led the team six times, Alexis Mead four times, Acacia Hayes and Zsofia Telegdy twice, and Josie Gilvin and Mackenzie Chatfield once.
- Senior Alexis Mead has begun etching her name in the WKU record book. Mead is currently fifth all-time at WKU in career steals with 219, ninth in career assists with 405 and 30th in all-time scoring with 1,170 career points. She is just the fourth Lady Topper to record over 1,150 career points, 400 career assists and 200 career steals, joining Renee Westmoreland, Kendall Noble and Clemette Haskins on the elite list.
- WKU has held 11 of 16 opponents under 70 points this season, notching a record of 10-1 when doing so. The Lady Toppers are 91-25 under head coach Greg Collins when keeping teams below 70.
SERIES INFORMATION
- The series between WKU and Middle Tennessee technically started 100 years ago. The first meeting between the two teams was during the 1924-25 season and the two teams played twice that year.
- Saturday's game will be the 86th meeting between the teams all-time. The Lady Raiders have a 51-34 advantage in the series, but WKU owns a 24-17 record against Middle Tennessee in Bowling Green.

- Middle Tennessee is the reigning CUSA champion, having won both the regular season and tournament titles last season. The Lady Raiders come into Saturday's contest having won 33 consecutive games against CUSA opponents, a league record.
- The Lady Raiders have a perfect 4-0 record in conference play, picking up wins against FIU, Liberty, Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State.
- Middle Tennessee leads the league in points allowed (54.8 per game), scoring margin (11.6), field goal percentage defense (33.6%), blocks per game (5.1) and turnovers per game (13.5).
- Anastasiia Boldyreva is third in the nation in blocked shots per game (2.82) and is averaging 14.6 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game.
- Ta'Mia Scott leads the Lady Raiders in scoring, averaging 15.2 points per game. Jalynn Gregory is putting up 14.2 points per game. Gregory ranks 17th in the country in made 3-pointers (48).
