About the Lady Toppers
- WKU defeated UTSA, 70-55, in the C-USA semifinals on Friday night to advance to the championship game. It's the first championship game appearance for WKU since 2018.
- So far this season, WKU has had 10 different leading scorers. That includes 10 different leaders during the 20 games of C-USA play. Acacia Hayes and Jaylin Foster have led WKU in scoring the most, topping the scoring column in six games. Mya Meredith and Hope Sivori have led the team five times.
- Hayes is WKU's leading scorer, putting up 11.0 points per game. The freshman is the Lady Toppers' leading shot maker (minimum of 100 attempts), making 48.1 percent of her shots from the field.
- Jaylin Foster is the team's second leading scorer with her 9.5 points per game average and she's the team's leading rebounder (5.6 rebounds per game) and steals leader (64 total).
- Alexis Mead is leading the team in assists earned with 98 on the season.
- WKU has made 274 threes this season, which is the most in a season by a WKU team all-time. The 2022-23 squad broke the previous record of 242 set by the 2016-17 team against UTEP on Thursday.

- WKU is forcing teams into 20.70 turnovers per game which is the most in the league and the 11th in the country. The Lady Toppers' 5.27 turnover margin compared to their opponents is the second highest in C-USA and 21st nationally.
- The WKU bench has been crucial this season. The reserves are scoring 29.4 points per game which includes a 66-point performance at Ball State.

- Saturday's game will be the 83rd game all-time between WKU and Middle Tennessee and the third this season. The Blue Raiders lead the series, 48-34 and won both previous games against the Lady Toppers this season.
