Friday's home opener against Valparaiso will be the first of three meetings with Valpo this season for the Hilltoppers. First pitch from the WKU Softball Complex will take place at 5 p.m. CT.
Saturday and Sunday's games will be part of the WKU Hilltopper Classic featuring the Tops, Bowling Green State and Indiana State.
No streams will be available this weekend. However, live stats will be available for all games played and those links can be found HERE.
Fans will not be allowed inside the WKU Softball Complex this season. Guests on the student athlete pass lists will be the only ones allowed. Parking Structure 3 will be available for fans to watch from should they choose.

TOP STORYLINES
- Sophomore Kennedy Sullivan earned Conference USA Hitter of the Week honors after a stellar outing at the Chattanooga Challenge last weekend.
- Redshirt Senior Paige Carter appeared on WKU Athletics' Beyond the Hill podcast this week to discuss being a fifth-year senior, the team's 4-1 start and much more.
- WKU redshirt-junior catcher Kendall Smith was one of 30 candidates named by the Senior CLASS Award in early February. She joins fellow Hilltopper Kelsey Aikey as the program's only selections to the prestigious list.
- In the all-time series against Valparaiso, WKU owns a 3-0 lead. The Tops claimed the most recent meeting in a 7-1 fashion back on Feb. 26, 2016. All three prior meetings have taken place in Bowling Green.
- The Hilltoppers own a 2-0 record against Indiana State already during the 2021 campaign, outscoring the Sycamores 30- 15 in two meetings at the Chattanooga Challenge. WKU leads the all-time series 12-2.
- WKU and Bowling Green have met eight times entering this weekend's tournament with the Tops leading the series 5-3 after claiming last season's meeting 2-0.
- WKU Softball was predicted to win the Conference USA East Division by league coaches, receiving eight first place votes. Individually, pitchers Kelsey Aikey and Shelby Nunn, along with catcher Kendall Smith have been named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
- The Hilltoppers' Opening Weekend (Feb. 12-14) trip to compete in the Georgia Southern-hosted Bash in the Boro tournament was canceled due to inclement weather in both Bowling Green and Georgia.
