RUSTON, La. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball begins Conference USA play on the road at Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m. CT Saturday in Ruston, La. The game will air nationally on CBS Sports Network.
The Hilltoppers' C-USA opener at Southern Miss on Thursday was postponed due to USM's COVID-19 issues. Their last game was a 95-60 loss at #20/18 Kentucky on Dec. 22. Louisiana Tech opened league play Thursday with a 79-56 blowout home win over Marshall.
WKU is 20-18 all-time against Louisiana Tech, including 6-9 on the road and six straight losses in Ruston dating back to 1998. Rick Stansbury is 7-4 all-time against the Bulldogs.

LAST GAME AGAINST LOUISIANA TECH: MARCH 25, 2021
WKU's season concluded with a 72-65 loss to Louisiana Tech in the NIT Quarterfinals.
The Hilltoppers allowed their conference foe to make 11 of 18 3-pointers, and a late 12-0 run to end the first half proved to be too much to overcome.
WKU led 31-27 with 3:24 left in the first half after a 10-0 run, capped with a 3-pointer from senior guard Taveion Hollingsworth.
But Louisiana Tech finished the half with four straight 3-pointers, using that 12-0 burst to open a 39-31 lead at the break. The Bulldogs made 8 of 12 3-pointers in the first half.
