BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Mahurin Family Foundation Head Coach Hank Plona announced the signing of rising sophomore Noah Norgaard to the 2026-27 roster.
Norgaard arrives on The Hill after spending one season at UNC Greensboro.
"Noah is a great late addition to our Hilltopper family," said Plona. "He is just scratching the surface of who he is as a player, and we know he will make a huge impact on our success this season. Noah can score, pass, defend and he competes to win every single day. His growth and improvement over the past year or two is very impressive. Hilltopper fans will love the competitor who Noah is and we can't wait to see him on the Diddle Arena court."
In 2025-26, Norgaard appeared in 35 games with 27 starts for the Spartans, averaging 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 37.1% from 3-point range. During Southern Conference play, he averaged 8.6 points per game while converting on 40.7% of his 3-point attempts. He scored a season-high 17 points in a 75-72 win over Wofford in the SoCon Tournament Quarterfinals.
Norgaard also brings high-level international experience, playing for the Danish youth national team. He was named MVP of FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B in 2025 after leading Denmark to the championship and promotion to Division A. He averaged 18.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in that tournament, highlighted by a 30-point performance in the title game. He has represented Denmark at multiple age-group levels and owns career averages of 15.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in FIBA youth competition.
