JUNIOR (2019-20): Started in all 30 games for WKU, averaging 35.0 minutes per game… Led WKU in scoring at 16.6 points per game… Shot 47.1 percent from the field, going 20 of 65 (30.8 percent) from long range and 150 of 178 (84.3 percent) from the charity stripe… Ranked on multiple WKU all-time lists included 18th in career points (1,494), eighth in career minutes played (3,614), sixth in career free throw percentage (80.6 percent) and 10th in career made free throws (362)… Ranked on WKU individual season lists, including 10th in made free throws (150) and eighth in free-throw percentage (84.3 percent)… Finished the season ranked in numerous categories in C-USA including fourth in scoring, sixth in field-goal percentage, fourth in free-throw percentage and fifth in minutes played per game…Named to First Team All-C-USA… Was 1 of 33 players in the country with at least 498 points, 126 rebounds, 81 assists and 40 steals… Scored career-high 43 points and forced overtime with a game-tying 3 against Louisiana Tech on Feb. 27, making 17 of 19 free throws, recording the second-highest single-game point total during the season for C-USA and the most points scored by a Hilltopper in a single game since Jan. 4, 1971… Named National Player of the Week on March 3 after averaging 32.5 points in two games against Louisiana Tech and North Texas… Tied previous career high with 30 points and 13 of 13 free throws against Charlotte on Jan. 18… Scored 23 points in win over ODU on Jan. 16, including WKU’s last nine in the final 38 seconds… Tallied 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists in 42 minutes in a win over Arkansas on Dec. 7… Reached 1,000 career points early in the season opener against Tennessee Tech on Nov. 5… Named to All-C-USA Preseason Team.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19): Started all 34 games and averaged team-high 36.8 minutes per contest… Ranked second on the team in scoring at 14.4 points per game while also averaging 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals… Named to All-Conference USA Third Team, Preseason All-Conference Team and C-USA Championship All-Tournament Team… Finished sophomore season just four points shy of 1,000 for his career… Shot 41.8 percent from the field, 31.8 percent from the 3-point line and 77.1 percent from the free-throw line… Played the fifth-most minutes in a season in program history at 1,251, making him the only player in program history with two seasons in the top 10… Also among the top players in the nation for minutes played, ranking third in C-USA… Scored 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting vs. North Texas in C-USA quarterfinals on March 14… Tied season high with 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting against Florida Atlantic on Jan. 19… Scored 22 points and tied his career high with six assists against No. 15/16 Wisconsin on Dec. 29… Had first career double-double vs. Troy on Dec. 16 with 10 points and career-high 12 rebounds.
FRESHMAN (2017-18): Appeared in and started all 38 games, tying for the program record for most games started in a single season, and averaged 34.5 minutes per game… Set new WKU records for points scored (506), minutes played (1,312) and games started by a Hilltopper freshman… Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team and twice named C-USA Freshman of the Week… Averaged 13.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 48 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from 3-point range and 79.1 percent from the free-throw line… Shattered Courtney Lee’s record for most points scored by a WKU freshman by more than 40 and was one of just 20 freshmen in the nation to score at least 500 points… Played more minutes as a freshmen than all but five players in the country since 2009, while only 10 freshmen – including eight top-20 NBA Draft picks – started as many games and scored more points since 1992… Tied his career high with 30 points and eight rebounds at Oklahoma State in the NIT quarterfinals on March 21… First scored 30 points, the most by a Hilltopper freshman since 1955, in a career-high 44 minutes at North Texas on Feb. 15… Also tied WKU record by making 14-of-14 free throws against the Mean Green… Made career-high five 3-pointers at UTEP on Feb. 1… Scored 15 points with six rebounds in WKU’s victory over top-25 Purdue on Nov. 23… Poured in 24 points early in the season against Nicholls on Nov. 19… Played 39 minutes in his college debut against Missouri State on Nov. 10.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named 2017 Kentucky Mr. Basketball after averaging 28.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a senior at Paul Laurence Dunbar (Ky.) High School… Selected as the 11th Region Player of the Year while shooting 55.1 percent from the field and 75.9 percent from the free-throw line… Led Dunbar to its first state championship as a junior and finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in Lexington boys’ basketball history with 2,495 career points… Also named Gatorade’s Kentucky Player of the Year and was first WKU signee to win both awards since Steffphon Pettigrew in 2007… Named MVP of the Derby Festival Basketball Classic and Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game, and also competed in the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star Classic Series.
