JUNIOR (2022-23): Started in all 33 of the Hilltoppers’ games… Led the team in scoring with 16.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 33.3 minutes per contest… Shot 45.6% (199-436) from the floor and netted 19 3’s during the year… Shot 84.1% (127-151) from the charity stripe… Logged 125 assists against 110 turnovers with 59 steals… Up against the league, he was fifth in scoring (16.5 ppg), 20th in rebounds per game (5.0), fourth in field goal percentage (45.6%), seventh in assists (3.8), sixth in free throw percentage (84.1%), sixth in steals (1.8), ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.14) and seventh in minutes played (33.3)… Scored 10 or more points in 28 games and 20 or more in nine games… Tied program record for free throw percentage in a single game, netting 13 of 13 against Middle Tennessee on Feb. 9… Finished 10th in the record books for free throw percentage in an individual season at 84.1% (127-151) and sixth in career free throw percentage 80.9% (292-361)… Finished third in WKU history in career assists (412) and steals (147)… Scored his 1,000th career point at Louisiana Tech on Jan. 19… Was the seventh-highest scoring Hilltopper junior in program history with 544 points during the season… Named C-USA All-Conference Second Team and NABC District 11 First-Team… Named C-USA Preseason All-Conference
SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Started in all 32 contests for the Hilltoppers… Increased production from his freshman year and averaged 36.3 minutes and 16.2 points, leading the team in both categories… Averaged 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.9 steals per game… Recorded 176 assists to 106 turnovers… Was the only player in the country to average at least 16.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game… Was sixth in the league in scoring per game, second in assists per game, third in minutes played and fifth in field goal percentage… Logged 11 20-point games… Shot 47% from the field… Tallied 34 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals against Minnesota on 11/12/21… Logged the fourth-ever triple-double in program history against Centre on Dec. 14 with 11 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and no turnovers, just the 14th time since 2010 that a player recorded a triple-double without a turnover… Named All-C-USA First Team… Named NABC First Team All-District… Named C-USA Player of the Week twice during the season (Nov. 15 and Feb. 21)
FRESHMAN (2020-21): Played in all 29 contests for the Hilltoppers, starting in 17 of them… Averaged 24.5 minutes and 5.8 points… Averaged 3.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest… Logged 111 assists to just 61 turnovers… Recorded three outings of nine assists each (Rice, Feb. 12-13 and vs. UAB, March 12)… One of three freshman in the country to tally at least 167 points, 111 assists, 104 rebounds and 28 steals in 2020-21… Finished seventh in the league in assists and sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio… Had 13 points, nine assists, three steals and two blocks against UAB on March 12 in C-USA semis… Made his first career start vs. Louisiana Tech on Jan. 8… Tallied six points, nine rebounds and seven assists against Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 6… Scored 21 points with four rebounds, three steals and three assists in collegiate debut against Northern Iowa, was named ESPNU’s Player of the Game… His 21 points were the second-most ever by a Hilltopper freshman in his college debut… Named to C-USA All-Tournament Team… Named to C-USA All-Freshman Team… Named C-USA Freshman of the Week on Nov. 30 (first award of season)… Named Male Rookie of the Year in the 2021 TOPSY Awards… Named to Dean’s List in Fall 2020 and C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll in Spring 2021.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named 2020 Kentucky Mr. Basketball after standout senior season at Collins High School… Averaged 20 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while leading the Titans to 27-7 record and 8th Region championship… Shot 57.6 percent from the field and made 172 free throws… Named 8th Region Player of the Year and First Team All-State by Louisville Courier Journal… Finished high school career as Collins’ all-time leader in points (1,897), rebounds (1,040), assists (600) and steals (329)… Averaged 17 points and 10.4 rebounds as a junior and chosen as second team all-state pick.
