NASHVILLE - Both WKU tennis teams pulled off 6-0 victories at Tennessee State in Nashville on Friday. The wins improved the Hilltoppers to 4-7 and the Lady Toppers to 6-6 on the year.
Neither the Lady Toppers nor the Hilltoppers lost a set against the Tigers, winning every match-up in straight sets. Seniors Monta Reinfelde and Carolina Barboza each picked up their seventh wins of the season to lead the Lady Toppers. On the Hilltoppers side, senior Josh Smith also recorded his seventh win to lead the squad.
The Hilltoppers are now 24-0 all-time against Tennessee State. Both squads are back in action on Wednesday, April 9 at Campbellsville in Campbellsville, Ky., at 3 p.m. (CT).
