BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU's tennis programs return to the courts on Thursday to host Northern Kentucky for the season's second home match. The Lady Toppers (4-4) and Hilltoppers (2-5) then travel to Athens, Tenn., on Sunday to play Tennessee-Wesleyan.
The home match against NKU will be played at Kereiakes Park and is set to start at 11 a.m. The Tennessee-Wesleyan match is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Lady Toppers have been finding success at the No.6 singles spot in matches so far, boasting a 6-2 record at the position. Senior Monta Reinfelde has played every match at the No.1 singles position and is 5-3 on the year.
The Hilltoppers are looking to end a five-match losing streak. Senior Josh Smith is 4-0 when playing in the No.3 singles spot and 2-0 at the No.1 doubles position.
