- Junior guard Alexis Govan hit the game winning shot in the final seconds after getting a steal at midcourt and completing an open drive to the basket.

- Govan continued to build on her career point total after recently becoming the 34th member of WKU's 1,000 point club. Govan is now in 33rd place on WKU's all-time scoring list, surpassing Jamie Walz today. Govan now has 1,050 in her career.
- Govan has scored in double figures in 47 consecutive games, tying her with Crystal Kelly for the third longest double-figure scoring streak at WKU since the start of the 2000-01 season. The streak is the second longest such active streak in the nation.
- Govan has started 52 consecutive games, the longest active streak on the team. She started the final nine games of the 2011-12 season and every game of the 2012-13 season.
- Senior guard Bianca McGee tied her career high by hitting five three-point field goals in the game.
- McGee had 19 points to lead all scorers.
- Freshman center Bria Gaines had 10 points and 12 rebounds for WKU.
- Gaines had nine rebounds in the first half and finished with 12 for the game.
- Gaines had her second career double-double and second in the last three games for WKU.
- Gaines made her second career start.
