BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - As a sophomore, WKU tennis player Tyler Patner has helped the Hilltoppers to a 6-9 record in 2011. Patner, playing in his second year for WKU, came to the Hill from Chicago, Illinois. Patner has competed in three matches this season for the Hilltoppers. In singles matches, Patner has an even 1-1 record playing in the #6 spot. Patner has also teamed up with Robert Whitmore in his lone doubles appearance to record a victory as doubles partners. With two matches remaining before the Sun Belt Conference tournament, Patner and his teammates will look to finish strong and head into SBC tournament action with momentum on their side.

These profiles will lead up to the Sun Belt Conference championships where the golf teams will be competing in Muscle Shoals, AL April 18-20 (women's) and April 24-27 (men's). The tennis team will seek their first Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship on April 20 in Mobile, AL on the campus of South Alabama University.
