The Lady Toppers’ record drops to 2-3 on the year and the Hilltoppers move to 2-4.
Ieva Balcus remained undefeated in singles competition with her 8-3 win in flight five against Florencia Bertoletti. Laura Caffey earned a victory in both matches she played — winning 8-0 in singles and joining Christina Hall to win 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
The Hilltoppers were victorious at No. 6 singles when Sam Patterson defeated Andy Farmer 8-5.
The Lady Toppers will be back in action on March 3 to take on IUPUI in Indianapolis, Ind., while the Hilltoppers while host Lipscomb Friday (Feb. 24) at Total Fitness.
