“Christina brings a lot of talent, experience and maturity to our team,” True said. “We are trilled Christina has decided to come to Western and become a Hilltopper.”
The Bowling Green, Ky., native played two seasons at MSU, with the latter campaign being the best. As a sophomore, she compiled an 11-4 record while going 8-1 in Ohio Valley Conference action to help the Lady Racers to a 15-7 mark and a second-place finish in the OVC Tournament. Hall saw limited action in 2003 after breaking her wrist prior to the start of league play.
Not only has Hall had success on the courts, she has earned a pair of academic awards the past two seasons. She was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and received the OVC Academic Medal of Honor.
While attending Greenwood High, Hall lettered three years. She was undefeated in the region her eighth grade and senior years, and earned a spot in the quarterfinals of the state tennis tournament. Hall was the Most Valuable Player and team captain her final season.
Hall joins the No. 1 tennis player in Kentucky, Erin Fulkerson, as two recruits True has on next season’s roster. The Lady Toppers only lose one player from last year’s squad, Dana Underdonk.
