The Hilltoppers' three points of the weekend all came against the Lipscomb Bisons. Western was able to capture the doubles point via Paipars/Rabinovics win over Andrew Harris and Zach Bowman, 8-6, and the Franco Serra and Ryan Durham defeat of Mike Sherman and Jonathan Houston, 8-6. In singles, Rabinovics defeated Harris 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot, and Serra beat Houston 6-3, 7-6 in the third flight.
Against Morehead State, the first three spots of the singles competition were not played. The Hilltoppers lost the other four points and fell in the event 0-4.
Western will compete again tomorrow in Clarksville, Tenn., against Austin Peay at 2 p.m. (CST).
