Hilton Head, S.C. - The Western Kentucky women's tennis team dropped its second match in two days, falling 6-1 to Wichita State Tuesday morning.
The Lady Toppers (2-8), coming in off a close 4-3 defeat to Lipscomb on Monday, saw their lone win come at No. 3 singles where Emily Lichtenberg (Fr., Paducah, Ky.) cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win over the Shockers' Martina Stojkic. Wichita State won the other five singles matches in straight sets and swept doubles play to get the victory.
Western will conclude its annual Spring Break trip to Hilton Head tomorrow (March 20) when it battles Southeast Missouri at 8 a.m. (CST).
