Career: One of just three WKU players to have scored over 1,300 career points and record over 400 assists and 200 steals…Finished her career with 125 starts, which is tied for the third most by a WKU player…Her 242 career steals are the fourth most in program history…Her 470 career assists are the sixth most in program history…She shot 80.7 percent from the free throw line, tying for the seventh best percentage in school history…Attempted 492 3-pointers at WKU, the eighth most in program history…Connected on 166 career 3-pointers, the ninth most in WKU history…Ended her career with 1,385 points, which is 23rd on the all-time scoring list at WKU.
Senior (2024-25): Named to the All-CUSA First Team and the CUSA All-Defensive Team…Team’s leading scorer, putting up 13.7 points per game…Also led the team in free throw percentage (.876) and assists (129)…Her 87.6 free throw percentage was the 27th best in the country and her 70 steals were the 78th best nationally…Led the team in scoring in nine games and in rebounding in eight games…Second on the team in field goal percentage (.455) and steals (70)…During CUSA play, she led the team in assists (74) and free throw percentage (85.2)…In CUSA she ranked first in free throw percentage (.876), first in assist/turnover ratio (1.7), third in assists (129), fifth in 3-point field goals per game (1.8), seventh in steals (2.2 per game) and eighth in scoring (13.7)…During CUSA play, she was first in assist/turnover ratio (1.8), second in assists (4.1 per game) and third in free throw percentage (.852)…Went off for a career high 29 points in an overtime win against Jacksonville State on Feb. 8…Had nine steals against FIU on Jan. 4, which is the fourth most in a single game by a Lady Topper…Recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds against UTEP on Feb. 27…Posted an impressive 21-point, 9-assist, 6-rebound and 4-steal statline against FIU in the quarterfinals of the CUSA Tournament…Named to the CUSA Academic Honor Roll.
Junior (2023-24): Named to the All-Conference USA Second Team and CUSA All-Defensive Team…Led CUSA in steals with 61 on the season and was second in the league in steals per game (1.91)…Finished the season with the third most assists in the conference with 131 total and 4.1 per game average…During CUSA play, Mead averaged 4.6 assists per game (3rd in the league) and 2.1 steals per game (2nd in the league)…Her 1.27 assist/turnover ratio was the sixth best in CUSA…Led the team in minutes played (998:57), 3-point field goals made (48), 3-point field goal attempts (135), 3-point field goal percentage (35.6), assists (131) and steals (61)…Led the team in scoring during conference play, averaging 12.3 points per game…Had five 20-point games on the season, including a season high 24 points against Purdue Fort Wayne and 23 points against Vanderbilt…Had a season high eight assists against Sam Houston…Had a season high nine rebounds against Vermont.
Sophomore (2022-23): Played in all 33 games for WKU and started in 31...Earned a C-USA Spirit of Service Award for her volunteer work throughout the semester...Scored in double digits in 11 games...Led the team in scoring twice...Led the team in steals and assists for the season...Went perfect from the free throw line in 14 games and ended the season with a 80.0 percent average on the season...Finished the season third in C-USA and 76th nationally with a 1.85 assist/turnover ratio...Her 65 steals on the season were fourth in the league and her 1.97 steals per game was fifth...She dished out 3.3 assists per game on the season which was eighth in the conference...Scored season high 19 points at FIU (1/14) and at UTSA (2/2)...Notched a career high nine assists to go along with eight rebounds at California Baptist on Dec. 21...Had 5-or-more rebounds in 10 games, including a career high 12 boards at Kansas in the WNIT...Also dished out seven assists against the Jayhawks...Had 5-or-more assists in eight games.
Freshman (2021-22): Conference USA All-Freshmen Team…Named C-USA Freshman of the Week on Nov. 29…Finished the season with 326 total points, which is the ninth most by a WKU freshman in program history…Her 101 assists on the season are tied for the sixth most by a Lady Topper freshman…Mead dished out 3.4 assists per game on the season, which was the 10th most in C-USA...Notched a 1.12 assist/turnover ratio on the season, the 10th best rate in the league...Started and played in every game…Had 18 double digit performances on the season…Had eight games with five-or-more assists…Led the team in assists in 18 games and in scoring and rebounding six times each…Scored a season high 25 points against Indiana State on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc while shooting 8-of-9 from the free throw line…Had 14 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals against C-USA foe UTSA…Had a season high eight rebounds three times against Bellarmine, Old Dominion and UAB…Had the team’s best free throw percentage at 77.2 percent on the season (minimum of 100 attempts), which was the seventh best percentage in C-USA.
High School: Played for Martin Luther King High School and Cal Storm Team Taurasi in AAU…Named a second team All-League selection as a freshman and a first teamer the following three seasons…Tabbed All-State first team her senior year and was a two-time first team All-CIF selection…Broke her high school team’s assist record as a freshman…Won a National Championship in Las Vegas with the Cal Storm in back-to-back years and was named MVP both times…Her high school team made the CIF championship game in the top division of California…In the classroom, Mead has made the honor roll every school year since elementary school.
