As a Senior (2012-13): In her final year on The Hill, Ruiz didn[apos]t compete in a majority of the season. Her first meet back came against Evansville on Senior Day, as she placed third in one-meter board with a score of 214.36 and third in the three meter after scoring 232.51. At the Sun Belt Conference Championships, Ruiz advanced to the finals of the one meter where she finished eighth after recording a score of 217.85. She finished the three-meter prelims just out of qualifying with an evaluation of 228.05.
As a Junior (2011-12): In her third season at WKU, Kylie Ruiz posted 12 top-10 finishes and scored in two events at the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. Ruiz placed fifth on the 1-Meter with a season-best score of 235.60 and ninth on the 3-Meter with a score of 211.10. Her best finishes of the season were a pair of second-place finishes against the University of the Cumberlands. She placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 221.85 and second on the 3-meter with a score of 225.00. Her season-best score on the 3-meter came against Georgia Tech and Clemson where she placed seventh with a mark of 229.55.
As a Sophomore (2010-11): Kylie Ruiz missed part of her sophomore season due to a wrist injury but came back to posted a pair of top-10 finishes at the Sun Belt Conference Championships. Ruiz finished seventh on the 3-Meter (240.05) and 10th on the 1-Meter (210.40). She led the team in the 3-Meter diving event with a career-best scored of 276.55. Ruiz placed third three times (1-Meter vs. Evansville and at the Hilltopper Invite and 3-Meter at the Hilltopper Invite) and finished outside of the top 10 only once.
As a Freshman (2009-10): Kylie Ruiz[apos]s first season at WKU featured six top-four finishes in the 1- and 3-meter events. Her best performance of the year was a first-place finish against Xaiver, where she scored 229.50. Ruiz scored in two events at the 2010 SBC Championships, placing third on the 1-meter (241.00) and third on the 3-meter (242.85).
