IOWA CITY, Iowa-- WKU swimmer Fabian Schwingenschlogl started his first event of the NCAA Swimming Championships strong on Thursday at the University of Iowa's Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
Schwingenschlogl put up a time of 1:47.16 in the 200 IM, finishing 50th after the morning's start. The sophomore is back in action on Friday at approximately 12:15 p.m. CT in the prelims of the 100 breast. Schwingenschlogl placed eighth last year at the NCAA Championships in the event to earn All-America honors.
Live results will be available at NCAA.com.ESPN3 will stream live the championships finals sessions Friday and Saturday. All sessions not streamed by ESPN will be streamed live on the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship microsite at HawkeyeSports.com. Coverage of the championships will also be broadcast via tape delay on ESPNU at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 8.
