As a Junior (2013-14): Completed the season with 16 top-10 finishes, including 11 in the top three...Added points for the Lady Toppers in three individual events at the Conference USA Championship after finishing 11th in the 500 free (4:53.45), 13th in the 1650 free (16:59.67) and 16th in the 400 IM (4:29.02)...Had multiple first-place finishes throughout the regular season against Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic and Delta State in dual meets while also against the field at the Hilltopper Open and in a tri-meet versus University of the Cumberlands, Marshall and Vanderbilt...In the regular season, had a best time of 4:54.21 at the Hilltopper Open in the 500 free, 10:16.76 in the 1000 free against the Bearcats and 17:00.17 in the 1650 free at the Hilltopper Open before lowering the times in the 500 and 1650 free at the C-USA meet.
As a Sophomore (2012-13): Forsyth finished her sophomore season with seven top-three finishes, including five first-place times. She put up some points for WKU in the Sun Belt Conference Championships, as WKU took its ninth title in program history. Forsyth set season-best times in the 500 free (4:54.29) and 400 IM (4:27.85) after finishing 11th and ninth, respectively. She also took 11th in the 1650 free after finishing in 17:12.21. Specialized in distance free events, Forsyth set a Bill Powell Natatorium record in the 1650 free at the Hilltopper Invite after stopping the clock in 16:55.18. She also took fifth in the same event (16:58.69) at the competitive Miami (OH) Invite. Forsyth grabbed a pair of first-place finishes in the 1000 free against Delta State (10:19.75) and Florida Atlantic/Nova Southeastern (10:12.98). She also notched some wins in the 500 free against Delta State (5:02.53) and Vanderbilt/Tulane (5:04.34).
As a Freshman (2011-12): In her first season on the Hill, Ashley Forsyth was a critical part of the Lady Toppers freestyle group. Forsyth tallied 14 top-5 finishes across five different freestyle distances. She won the 1,000 free against both Georgia Tech and Clemson (10:14.19) and FAU, IUPUI and Nova Southeastern (10:19.88) while placing first in the 1,650 free at the Hilltopper invite in a Bill Powell Natatorium record time of 16:57.42. Forsyth scored in two events at the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. She placed seventh in the 1,650 free (17:01.76) and 12th in the 400 IM (4:29.24).
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado, Springs, Co...Was the Colorado 4A State Champion in the 500 freestyle as a sophomore and followed that up as the Colorado 4A State Champion in both the 200 and 500 freestyle...Was named an All-American in the 500 freestyle...Earned 4A Swimmer of the Year honors in 2010 and 2011...Four-time MVP of her swim team...Also lettered in softball as a freshman.
