As a Sophomore (2013-14): Had three top-10 finishes and two in the top five...Finished the year with some of her best times in breast, butterfly and IM events at the Conference USA Championships...Placed times of 30.32 in the 50 breast, 1:05.00 in the 100 breast and 2:21.39 in the 200 breast while going 28.51 in the 50 fly and 2:07.52 in the 200 IM...Finished fifth in the 200 breast (2:27.37) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:07.54) at the Hilltopper Open...Earned fifth in the 100 breast (1:09.56) against Florida Atlantic.
As a Freshman (2012-13): In her first year at WKU, Maher finished the year with seven top-10 times, including four in the top five. Maher[apos]s best finish came in the season finale against Evansville, as she placed third in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.96. Maher opened the season with a fourth-place time of 2:27.87 in the 200 breast against Delta State. She also had a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 200 breast (2:28.27) against Vanderbilt/Tulane and the 200 IM (2:14.28) against Florida Atlantic/Nova Southeastern.
High School: Swam at Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn....Lettered all four years...Named team MVP...Holds high school record in 100 breaststroke...All-American in 100 breaststroke...Named Most Valuable Swimmer all four year...Team captain senior year...Four-time state finalist in 100 breaststroke.
