As a Junior (2012-13): In her first season on The Hill, Halligan was a big presence for the Lady Toppers, as she completed the season with 10 top-five times, including nine in top two and three first-place finishes. Halligan set a school record at the Sun Belt Conference Championships with a time of 1:01.69 in the 100 breast. She also scored in three other events, including a fifth-place finish in the 200 breast (2:16.50), ninth in the 200 IM (2:04.14) and second in the 400 medley relay. All of her times in WKU[apos]s run to the championship crown were season best. She tabbed her first top time against Vanderbilt/Tulane in the 200 breast (2:21.86) while notching a pair of wins in the 100 breast against the field at the Miami (OH) Invite (1:02.41) and Florida Atlantic/Nova Southeastern (1:05.73). Through the first two meets of the season, Halligan finished no lower than second while she also took second in the 200 breast at the Miami (OH) Invite (2:17.51). Before WKU: Swam at a NCAA Division I institution for two years...Placed fourth at the conference championship meet...Named a 2012 all-conference academic team member...Had personal best times of 1:01.74 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:15.81 in the 200 breaststroke and 2:04.97 in the 200 IM.
