SERIES HISTORY
- Thursday's game will mark the first ever meeting between the Hilltoppers and Blue Hens.
- Delaware joined Conference USA in 2025 after being a member of the CAA from 2002 until 2025.
- The Delaware Baseball Program got its start in 1882 and has an all-time record of 2,250-1,544-27 in 140 seasons.
- The Blue Hens have won 17 total conference championships (11 regular season, seven tournament) and have made 18 NCAA Tournament Appearances, with their last coming in 2017, receiving the auto-bid from the Colonial.
- Delaware has played in one College World Series, making it to the 1970 edition at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium. The Blue Hens went 0-2 in the World Series as USC was named the eventual champion.
