- WKU is on its way to its best home record in program history, currently at 19-1. The 2022 team posted a program-best 23-2 record at the WKU Softball Complex.Â
- In a weekend of three games or longer, WKU hit its second-best batting average against Sam Houston. In the three-game series, WKU hit .405 with 22 runs scored on 32 hits.Â
- Leading the way against the Bearkats was Maci Masters who hit a staggering .714 with five hits in seven at-bats. Two of her five hits were home runs, and she tied for the most RBI over the weekend with four.Â
- The Hilltopper pitching staff matched its conference-series-best ERA at 1.47 against Sam Houston. WKU also posted a 1.47 ERA in the three-game sweep against Missouri State.Â
- Erica Houge led in the circle with a 1.35Â ERAÂ and a save while Rylan Smith collected the most wins with two. The pair combined for 13 strikeouts in 19.0 innings of work.Â
- The Tops are on the cusp of setting yet another single-season program record as they inch closer to the team's single-season home run record of 50. Through the 35 games played, the WKU offense has combined for 46 home runs, led by Maci Masters with 11.Â
- WKU is three wins away from its 20th 30-win season. If the Tops can win against Lipscomb and take the first two games against Liberty this weekend, the 2026 squad will be the fastest to 30 wins in 38 games, beating the 2019 & 2022 squads who reached 30 wins with 39 games.Â
- While Maci Masters has 11 home runs, Annie White and Kennedy Stinson have nine and Kendle White has seven. WKU has never had more than two players with double-digit home runs in one season. The 2026 season has the potential to have four before the conference tournament.Â
