BOWLING GREEN, Ky.– WKU Softball looks to continue its success at the WKU Softball Complex with a midweek match up against EKU on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU opened Conference USA play with a perfect 3-0 record, one of three teams to do so this past weekend.
- Over the three-game span, WKU outscored the Bears 18-4, headlined by four home runs on the weekend.
- The sweep also resulted in the best start in program history at 18-3 and also marked the longest win streak in program history at 13 games.
- The Hilltoppers' pitching staff combined for a tiny 1.47 ERA over the weekend, led by Rylan Smith, who threw 7.2 innings and did not give up an earned run.
- WKU hit .361over the weekend, led by Jenna Blanton who hit .700. Blanton slashed .700/.700/.900 including seven hits, two bunt singles, and a triple. She also totaled three RBI.
- Annie White continues to be an offensive machine for WKU, hitting .500 on the weekend and recording a team-high five RBI.
- Both Blanton and Annie White are ranked in the top five in batting average across CUSA. Blanton is second with a season batting average of .484, and White is fifth at .468.
- Maci Masters is currently tied for first in Conference USA in home runs with nine.
- WKU is ranked in the top 10 amongst all NCAA DI softball teams in ERA at 2.04. The team also has the fifth-best WHIP in the nation at 0.95. The Tops are also top 25 in batting average (23rd, .353), slugging percentage (23rd, .578), and are in the top 30 in home runs per game (28th, 1.43).

- The Tops are 15-14 all-time against the Colonels and currently have a two-game losing streak. When playing at the WKU Softball Complex, WKU is 7-9.

- EKU has posted a 11-11 record through five weeks with notable wins against IU Indy and UTSA. The Colonels run-ruled IU Indy in both games.
- Leading EKU's offense is Kennedy Drafton who's slashing .339/.576/.474. She also collected 17 runs, 20 hits, four runs, and 16 RBI. Drafton also leads EKU in home runs with four.
- In the circle, Victoria Byrum leads with a 3.04. Fresh off an ASUN Pitcher of the Week honor, Byrum posted a 2-0 record with a 0.45 ERA across 15.2 innings of work. She allowed just one earned run on 10 hits while fanning 17 batters and holding opponents to a .179 batting average.
