HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
Smith earned her sixth start of the season, throwing 0.1 innings before giving way to Erica Houge. Houge threw the next 2.2 innings and gave up only one earned run before Maddy Wood came in to throw the last 1.1 innings of the night. Â
NMSU took the win with six runs in the first and the final two in the fourth and fifth innings.Â
White's hit came in the top of the fourth inning on the first pitch of her at-bat. Â
