- Rafe Blankenship leads WKU on the players' leaderboard after day one, tied for third place. Blankenship carded a 71 (-1) for the first round and then a 69 (-3) in the second for a total score of 140 (-4). His 140 through the first two rounds is the lowest 36-hole score in his career.
- Gage Doyle posted a 71 (-1) in the first round and a 70 (-2) in the second for a total score of 141 (-3) putting him in a tie for sixth place.
- Joseph Agee joins Blankenship and Doyle in the top 10, tied for 10th place heading into the final round. Agee shot a 72 (E) in the first round and a 70 (-2) in the second for a total score of 142 (-2).
- Trevor Drew carded a 75 (+3) in the first round and bounced back with a 72 (E) in the second for a total score of 147 (+3), tying for 28th place.
- Will Easterlin posted an 80 (+8) in the first round and a 73 (+1) in the second for a total score of 153 (+9), tying for 57th place.
- Reed Richey, competing as an individual, shot an 83 (+11) in the first round and a 79 (+7) in the second for a total score of 162 (+18), tying for 88th place.

"There was a lot of really good golf today," said head coach Austin King. "I was proud of the guys and how they handled the wind and cold this morning and then we played very solid this afternoon. It's exciting to be in contention, and tomorrow should be a fun day to compete for our guys!"
