ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU's lineup will be Gage Doyle, Trevor Drew, Rafe Blankenship, Will Easterlin, Joseph Agee and Reed Richey as an individual.
- WKU teed off the spring season at the Military City Collegiate, finishing in eighth place with a 41-over score. The Hilltoppers then competed at the Seminole Intercollegiate, finishing in 14th place with a 46-over score.
- Will Easterlin was the top finisher for WKU in the Military City Collegiate, carding a 224 (+8), tying for 20th place. Rafe Blankenship had the Hilltoppers' best score at the Seminole Intercollegiate, posting an 11-over score, tying for 43rd place.
- The Hilltoppers played in five events in the fall. WKU competed at the Argent Financial Classic hosted by Louisiana Tech on Sept. 7-9, finishing in 11th with a 5-under score (859). The Hilltoppers competed in the Virtues Intercollegiate where they came in seventh place. WKU competed in the Cullan Brown Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky where they finished in 10th place. The Hilltoppers competed in the Purdue Fall Invitational, finishing in ninth place and then ended the fall at the Furman Intercollegiate, tying for third place.
- Redshirt freshman Ethan Smith claimed a tie for 14th place at the Cullan Brown Invitational with a 1-under (141) score for the 36 holes, helping him earn Conference USA Golfer of the Week.
- Gage Doyle was the top finisher for the Hilltoppers at Louisiana Tech, at Purdue and at Furman. He carded a 4-under score of 212 for the tournament at LA Tech, tying for 22nd place. He shot an even 216 at the Purdue Fall Invitational to finish in a tie for 14th place and then shot a 213 (E) at Furman, tying for fifth place. Will Easterlin was the leader for WKU in the Virtues Intercollegiate. He finished in 16th place with a 1-over par (217) score. Will Easterlin was the top finisher for WKU at the Virtues Intercollegiate, carding a 217 (+1) for the tournament for a 16th place finish.
THE FIELD (15 TEAMS)
WKU will be joined in the field by host Austin Peay along with Bellarmine, Bradley, Chicago State, Cleveland State, East Texas A&M, High Point, Jacksonville State, Lindenwood, Murray State, Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Indiana, Tennessee Tech and UT Martin.
