- WKU had two golfers (Doyle and Agee) finish in the top 10 for the first time this season.
- Gage Doyle moved up on the leaderboard to claim fourth place in the tournament after posting a 70 (-2) in the final round. He finished with a 5-under score (211) for the tournament, a new career best 54-hole score.
- Joseph Agee carded a 72 (E) for the final round to bring his total score to 214 (-2) for the tournament, tying for ninth place.
- Rafe Blankenship shot a 76 (+4) in the third round to bring his score to 216 (E) for the tournament putting him in a tie for 17th place.
- Trevor Drew posted a 77 (+5) in the final round, bringing his total score to 224 (+8) and tying for 41st place.
- Will Easterlin carded a 73 (+1) in the third round. His total score of 226 (+10) put him in a tie for 49th place.
- Reed Richey, competing as an individual, posted his best score of the tournament on Tuesday with a 71 (-1). He finished tied for 74th place with a total score of 233 (+17).
QUOTABLE
"Today we had some good play but also some disappointing play," said head coach Austin King. "Gage and Joseph put together very solid events, and I was really happy to see how they performed this week. Today as a team though we just didn't hit enough good shots to get things going to be there at the top with Jax State and UT Martin. There's a little bit more good every week with this group, we just have to keep sharpening up so we can be in that position more often. We'll get some good work in so we can use the good stuff from this week as momentum for the rest of the spring."
