ABOUT THE TOPSÂ
- Last time out, WKU competed at the Little Rock Invitational.
- In total, the Hilltoppers managed to set seven new personal bests when action had wrapped up on Saturday evening. The women's team charted four while the men managed three.
- Gianna Huerta managed two personal bests in the 200 and the 400 meter hurdles. Her mark of 14.68 in the 100-meter hurdles was good enough for a top-five finish.
- Sterling Weldon managed a personal best in the 100 meter dash with a mark of 10.57 which earned him a third place finish.
- Sofia Witt led the Hilltoppers in the 800 meter run as she managed a top-15 finish and a new PR with a mark of 2:20.
- Morgan Moore also had a personal best finish in the event checking in at 2:34.
- Henry Fisher notched a PR in the 400 meter run with a time of 49.89 which was good for 19th place in the event.
EVENT BREAKDOWN
- Action Friday will kick off with the women's and men's hammer throw slated for 8Â a.m. CT. (All times Central Daylight).
- The men's long jump will get underway at 9Â a.m. with the final field event, the men's javelin scheduled for 5:30Â p.m.
- On the track Friday, the 800 meter run will kick things off at noon. The final event of Friday, the 5000 meter run is slated for 1:50Â p.m.
- On Saturday, action gets underway with the discus, set for 8 a.m.Â
- On the track, Saturday events will start off with the 100 meter and 110 meter preliminary hurdles set for noon.
- The final individual track event, the 1500 meter run, will take place at 3Â p.m.
- The final event of the meet, the 4x400 meter relays are slated for 4:10Â p.m.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
- The Hilltoppers will be competing against the likes of familiar DI foes FAU, Indiana, Indiana State, Marshall, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Southern Indiana, Tennessee, and Xavier.
- Teams from the Commonwealth include Bellarmine, EKU, Murray State, Morehead State, Murray State, and the host Cardinals.
- Some other programs from the bluegrass state include Campbellsville, the Cumberlands, and UPike.
