- The Hilltoppers will meet the Bison for the 36th time in program history.Â
- Lipscomb has a narrow, 17-18, lead in the all-time series against the Hilltoppers. WKU last beat the Bison on April 19, 2022 in a 5-0 shutout. Â
ABOUT THE TOPSÂ
- With their series win over LA Tech, WKU improved to 17-15 overall and 4-7 in CUSA play.Â
- WKU is currently ranked seventh in CUSA in batting average (.275) and seventh in runs at 153.Â
- The Hilltoppers have three players ranked in the top 50 in batting average in CUSA with Masters at 26 (.330, Kendle White at 37 (.310), and Morgan Sharpe at 40 (.305).Â
- Sophomore utility Maci Masters currently leads the Hilltoppers offensively with a .330 batting average and 10 home runs. Through the games against Louisville and LA Tech, Masters accumulated a total of two home runs and six RBI. She also leads the Tops in total bases (67) and slugging percentage (.736).Â
- Maci Masters is also ranked fourth in the conference in slugging percentage, fifth in OPS (1.192), and sixth in RBI (30).Â
- Master's 10 home runs are seven away from the current single season record in home runs (17) and her 30 RBI is 26 away from the all-time single season record.Â
- Senior catcher Randi Drinnon is currently ranked first in Conference USA in sacrifice bunts with eight.Â
- Sophomore right-hander Rylan Smith is ranked ninth in CUSA in opposing batting average with a .250. She's also fifth in strikeouts with 70 and ranked third in batters struck out looking with 29.Â

ABOUT THE BISONÂ
- The Bison are currently fifth in the Gold Division of the ASUN and carry an 18-16 overall record and a 5-4 record in ASUN play.Â
- Lipscomb is ranked ninth in batting average with a .254 and seventh in total runs with 167.Â
- In the circle, the Bison are ranked eighth overall with a 4.74 ERA. The pitching staff has collected a total of 107 strikeouts in 224.2 innings played. Overall, Lipscomb has recorded a total of four shutouts.Â
- Lipscomb is coming off a recent Player of the Week award with Alyssa Hastings earning the nod. In the three-game series against Bellarmine, she recorded three hits, five runs, six RBI, and two home runs in back-to-back games.Â
- Alyssa Hastings leads the Bison's offense in almost every offensive category with a .392 batting average and a .706 slugging percentage. She has collected a total of 40 hits and scored 28 runs so far with a team-high six runs, 14 doubles, and 72 total bases.Â
- Laine Barefoot leads the Bison's pitching staff with a 3.81 ERA and a .266 opponent batting average. She is credited with nine wins so far this season. Barefoot also totals 43 strikeouts in 93.2 innings pitched.Â
- Lipscomb's biggest margin of victory came against the University of Maine with a 18-0 shutout on February 21.Â
- Lipscomb has shared one opponent, Bradley, with WKU this season. The Bison won the game, 3-0, on February 7. Â
