- The Hilltoppers will meet Liberty for the eighth time in program history. WKU leads the all-time series, 4-3.Â
- Liberty has come out victorious in the previous three consecutive meetings.
- This weekend's series features a rematch of the 2024 CUSA Championship game, which Liberty won over WKU 4-3 on a ninth-inning walk-off double.

- Second-year Maci Masters sent her fifth ball of the season over the fence for a two-run home run in the battle against Ole Miss on Tuesday.Â
- Maci Masters and Kendle White led with a team-high two hits each in the latest performance against the Rebels.
- Morgan Sharpe leads the team with 25 hits so far this season. Sharpe has contributed 10 runs to the team total this season.
- Rylan Smith is ranked sixth in CUSA in both strikeouts and opposing batters average. Smith has struck out 49 batters on the season allowing a .221 batting average against her. She is also second in the conference in strikeouts looking.
- Junior pitcher Maddy Wood has been a spark plug with a 4-1 record and a 2.85 ERA.Â

- Liberty is ranked No. 24 in the Softball America Top 25 Poll this week. The Lady Flames are 25th in the D1Softball.com Top 25 and 24th in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll.Â
- Liberty enters this weekend's series on a nine-game winning streak.
- Offensively, Liberty leads Conference USA in batting average (.345), runs (173), RBI (150), on base percentage (.422) and sacrifice flies (16). In CUSA, Liberty also ranks second in team ERA (2.06) and first in strikeouts (160).
- Elena Escobar earned the CUSA Pitcher of the Week honor on Monday after going 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA, .163 opponents' batting average, one shutout, one save, two walks and 19 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings pitched.
- Rachel Roupe earned CUSA Player of the Week for the second time this season. She also earned 2025 CUSA Preseason Player of the Year in late January. She batted 8-for-13 (.615) with three doubles, one homer, eight RBI and three runs scored in last week's games.
- KK Madrey is batting .449 while leading CUSA with 23 steals. Savannah Woodard (.367) leads the team with 25 runs scored, while Savannah Jessee bats .308.
- Four different Lady Flames (Allen, Bachman, Escobar, Oubre) have one shutout each this season.Â
- RHP Paige Bachman holds a 5-1 record with a team-leading 1.54 ERA and 40 strikeouts. Elena Escobar is 8-1 and owns a 2.21 ERA, while Tyler Oubre is 3-0 with a 2.14 ERA. Kaylan Yoder (3-1, 2.88) struck out 11 batters last Saturday against Kennesaw State.
