- WKU returns multiple athletes who made an impact throughout the indoor season in 2025 including Kameron Horton, Sam Crenshaw, Kinley Kunkel, Sophia Roskoski, and Jayla Gilbert.
- Crenshaw, Gilbert, and Roskoski among others will all compete for WKU at Saturday's meet. Crenshaw and Roskoski in the pole vault and Gilbert in the shot put and weight throw.

- Last season at the CUSA Indoor Championships, Kameron Horton set the school record in the 60-meter dash in the preliminary round and ended up taking home the silver medal in the event. He also took the bronze medal in the 200-meter dash.
- Crenshaw and Sterling Weldon both finished just outside the top-three in their respective events to wrap up the indoor slate of their freshman campaigns. Crenshaw took fourth in the pole vault and Weldon took fourth in the long jump at the CUSA Championships in February.
