BATON ROUGE, La. – WKU track and field wrapped competition at the LSU Alumni Gold with three podium finishes on Saturday at Bernie Moore Track Stadium. Natalie Papes took second place in the women's pole vault, while Jackson Gray and Sam Crenshaw earned second and third place respectively in the men's pole vault.Â

Papes cleared a height of 3.96m to earn the second-place finish at the meet. Both Gray and Crenshaw recorded a final mark of 5.10m, with Gray earning second and Crenshaw earning third based on scoring comparison for each athlete's second-best jump.
Sterling Weldon finished fifth in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.25m, while Jayla Gilbert finished eighth in women's shot put with a distance of 14.21m. Kameron Horton posted an eleventh-place finish in a deep men's 200-meters field, clocking a time of 20.78. Brunel Desinor followed closely in twelfth-place with a time of 20.87.
