- Georgia Liapis scored her ninth goal of the season in the 40th minute, marking her second consecutive game-winning goal. She finished with a team high four shots and three on target in 90 minutes Sunday afternoon.
- Liapis is the second leading scorer in CUSA, third in points, and fifth in shots.
- Liapis is the only midfielder in CUSA in the top-five in scoring.
- Her nine goals this season are tied-seventh in WKU history and the most for a Hilltopper since 2008.
- Liapis was tabbed as Conference USA's Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday following her efforts in the win last Sunday.

- Friday morning, CUSA announced all-conference awards. Georgia Liapis was named the league's midfielder of the year, Makenna Egan was tabbed as freshman of the year, and Jason Neidell was named coach of the year.
- In addition, a total of four Hilltoppers made All-CUSA Teams. Liapis and Abby Wiedermann were named First Team All-CUSA while Egan and Maddie Davis were picked Second Team All-CUSA. Egan was also named to the All-Freshman Team.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Missouri State enters postseason play with a record of 5-8-4 and a 2-3-3 mark in CUSA Play, earning the No. 8 seed in the CUSA Championship.
- The Bears tied 1-1 with FIU in their last regular season matchup in Miami. Reilly Heman scored for Missouri State in the 15th minute of the match.
- In goal, Ella Becker charted four saves with one goal allowed in 90 minutes in the net.
- Missouri State had six players score more than one goal throughout the regular season. The Bears were led by Julia Kristensen who managed five goals over the course of the season.
- Reilly Heman is the second leading scorer with four goals followed by a trio of Bears with three apiece.
- One of those players, Abby Hansen, leads the team in assists this season with five to her name.
SERIES INFORMATION
- Sunday will mark the third meeting between WKU and Missouri State. The series is currently tied 1-1 with WKU winning the last matchup earlier this season 4-3.
- The Bears won the first ever meeting between the two in Bowling Green on September 23, 2005 in a 2-1 decision.
- Earlier this season WKU won in Springfield to even the all-time series between the two programs.

- The last time these two teams took to the pitch WKU won the matchup 4-3 on October 12 in Springfield.
- WKU's win snapped a 24 match unbeaten streak for Missouri State, dating back to October 23, 2022.
