DALLAS, Texas – WKU women's golf senior Catie Craig earned her seventh career Conference USA Golfer of the Week honor on Wednesday.
Craig claimed her fifth career win on Sunday, winning the 2024 Cardinal Cup with a 3-under 213. She is now one win shy of Mary Joiner's program record of six career wins.
Craig overcame a two-shot deficit to begin the day, thanks to her 2-under 70. She had six birdies in the final round and led the 84-player field with 13 birdies on the week. She led the field in Par-4 scoring (3.93) and Par-5 scoring (4.67).
Fresh off the win, Craig and the Lady Tops head to the Lady Paladin Invitational, which begins Friday at the Furman University Golf Course.
