ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU is off to a 2-4 start to the 2024 season after notching a pair of wins against Union (Tenn.) and Evansville. The Hilltoppers are 2-0 at home this season.
- Kayla Meyer leads WKU in goals scored on the season with four through six games. The senior had two against Union and netted a goal each against Evansville and Arkansas State.
- Six total Hilltoppers have scored goals this season and six have notched assists.
- Maddie Davis has played all six games in goal for WKU this season. She has one shutout on the year and nine in her career.
- The Hilltoppers returned 17 players from the 2023 season and welcomed two transfers and seven freshmen. Among the returners are 2023 starting goalkeeper Maddie Davis, second-leading scorer Kayla Meyer and defensive starters Aspen Seaich, Kendall Wade and Lily Rummo.
- WKU was picked to finish third in the preseason Conference USA coaches poll. Liberty was picked first and New Mexico State was selected second. The Hilltoppers finished third in Conference USA last season with a 4-2-2 record in conference play. The Hilltoppers were 6-5-7 overall. The seven ties were a school and CUSA record.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
- Ohio is coming off a MAC Tournament championship season in 2023 and is out to a 3-1-1 start in 2024. The Bobcats have wins against Northern Kentucky, Valparaiso and Marshall and has a tie against Butler and a loss to No. 8 Michigan State.
- The Bobcats are holding teams to 0.80 goals per game, giving up only four in five games. On the flip side, Ohio is scoring 2.40 goals per game with 12 on the season.
- Scout Murray leads the team in goals with four and eight total Bobcats have scored this season.
- Celeste Sloma has started all five games for Ohio in-goal. She has three shutouts and a 0.833 goals against average.
