Freshman Devon Rogers took home the highest finish of the day for WKU, coming in second in the javelin throw. The Kentucky native cleared 55.12 meters in the event.
The Tops had three athletes competing in the discus throw. All, three finished in the top-10 as Luke Stegman finished third after clearing 51.73 meters. His third place finish put him in the event final. Hunter all finished eighth after throwing 44.76 yards, and Connor Owens finished ninth after throwing 44.01 yards.
On the track, Trevor Hundall took home second in the 1500-meter run in the C group. Hundall clocked in a 3:52.44 finish.
Carson Sansenbach turned in a top-10 finish as well, finishing eighth in the 1500-meter run in the D group after turning in a 4:09.39 time.
On the women's side, Kennedy Coradini started the day on the field, taking home 16th in the javelin throw. The freshman threw 32.72 meters.
In the pole vault, Grace Turner and Sophia Roskoski tied for fifth. They both cleared 3.60 meters. Also clearing 3.60 meters was Natalie Papes who placed seventh.
On the track, Kinley Kunkel took home ninth in the 3000-meter run. The freshman turned in a 10:21.89 final time.
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Arielle Phillips would finish 15th. Phillips turned in a 11:36.10 time.

WKU field will wrap up the Music City Challenge tomorrow morning. The men's hammer throw is the first event up for the Red and White, it's slated for a 10 a.m. start.
